About the Conference

Sub-themes

We are excited to host our first ever virtual conference. AfLIA conferences, the biggest forum for LIS professionals and practitioners in Africa, has been characterized by thought-provoking keynote addresses, insightful paper and poster presentations, cutting-edge discussion in LIS, invaluable networking and collaborations and extensive exhibition sessions.

This year’s virtual conference scheduled to hold from 24-27 May 2021, is designed to replicate all these experiences in a full online environment. Networking has always been at the heart of our biennial conferences and this time, attendees will be able to partake in interactive and engaging experiences through a dynamic virtual conference platform, from the comfort and safety of their homes or offices

Despite the present challenges, we look forward to a very eventful virtual conference!...
