The Wikipedia in African Libraries Project (#WikiAfLibs) aims to produce an adapted curriculum to train at least 300 LIS professionals (from about 30 African countries), who will be able to carry out community outreaches and help their different user communities to be adept at using Wikipedia for learning, research and telling their own stories.
But before that, we’d really like to hear from you. We will rely on your feedback to develop appropriate content and also inform implementation of project activities. Your input will be valuable in shaping the content and structure of the proposed course, means and patterns of delivery, assessment and certification, skills set and opinions, so kindly spare some few minutes to complete this pre-research survey:
Feel free to share this in your networks as well and invite many to participate in the survey. Thank you in advance for your participation.
