27TH AUGUST, 2021

The Professional diplomas and programs section affiliated to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s Library Sector proudly announces their first professional program “Professional Digital Marketing Diploma” which will be delivered in partnership between the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) in Dublin.

The DMI is the global certification body that sets the standard of digital marketing education, their Professional Certification in Digital Marketing is quality assured and credit rated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority, aligned to the European Qualifications Framework. This diploma will be conducted entirely online and is designed for beginners and professionals. It will include ten modules in 30 credit hours for two months and the certification exam will be taken through Pearson VUE.

Given the importance of marketing to libraries and librarians, it is with great pleasure to announce that Bibliotheca Alexandrina is offering 30% discount to African Librarians who will be nominated by AfLIA to obtain this diploma. This partial scholarship initiative falls within the framework of the MoU signed between AfLIA and Bibliotheca Alexandrina that aims at fostering cooperation in the field of library and information science, and disseminating knowledge among African libraries.
