AfLIA Secretariat has been informed that some of our members and followers have been receiving mails (purportedly from AfLIA Secretariat) requesting recipients to click some URLS or fill forms. Among such fake mails include a mail sent from one Kun Wang with the email address, jizanconstructioncompany@yahoo.com; and another from one Shirleen James with the email address, contact.nextrading@gmail.com.
We wish to bring to your urgent attention that these are fraudulent mails and that you should please avoid yielding to any requests being made by any such fraudulent emails.
AfLIA is an international not-for-profit organization with well established communication protocols. All our official email addresses have the extension “@aflia.net“, e.g. secretariat@aflia.net; afliacomm@aflia.net, membership@aflia.net, info@aflia.net; conference@aflia.net etc.
Should you receive any email purportedly sent by AfLIA but the email address does not have this extension (@aflia.net), kindly inform us immediately, by forwarding the mail to afliacomm@aflia.net after which you can report the email as SPAM to your mail service provider. We will also like to remind our members, followers and email subscribers to pay critical attention to the security of their own email addresses and online passwords as these, when compromised, contribute to the influx of fake/scam emails in your inbox.
Thank you for trusting in AfLIA.
