New AfLIA Council Elected for the 2019-2021 Term
AfLIA is pleased to announce the election of new members into AfLIA’s Governing Council to steer the affairs of the Association for the 2019 – 2021 term. Expectations are high that the new Council will bring in their expertise, experiences and passion for the African Library field and lift AfLIA to higher levels. AfLIA is a growing Body with much to be done. The interest in serving shown by contestants who lost in the elections has been duly noted. AfLIA hopes to engage them in other areas for strengthening the African Library sector. Also, some vacancies still remain among the Section Officers and we will be glad to have members who qualify (by their library type) to serve in those positions.
